A New Week, A Peaceful Beginning
This story is part of my authentic healing journey

Have a Nice Week!
A new week has begun, and it’s almost two months since I stepped away from the fast-paced capitalist grind. The time hasn’t been too long, but it’s enough for me to truly feel the change in my daily rhythm.
Every morning, I wake up early, welcome the sunlight through the window, read a few pages of a favorite book, meditate for fifteen minutes, and take deep breaths. These small moments bring me a gentle peace, as if life itself has slowed down just enough for me to enjoy it.
Today is a special day for my family: the kids are finally back to school after the summer break. My nephew, the eldest son of my brother, started fourth grade. He asked me to help him tie his brand-new red scarf. Watching him stand politely in front of me, I couldn’t help but think of his childhood. He was not even two years old when his little sibling was born, so he grew up with some quiet sacrifices. He learned to share early, and whenever his mom scolded him, he would crawl under the blanket to cry, afraid of making a sound. Whenever I came home, he would follow me around, innocent yet full of affection. And now, that little boy has grown so much—it feels like time is flying too fast.
Once the kids left for school, the house grew quiet again. My brother went to work early, my sister-in-law was busy with laundry and cooking, and I sat down to write a few lines before getting back to self-study and finishing some unfinished projects. The first day of the week passed in such a simple way, but within that simplicity was the peace I once longed for.
In that stillness, I remembered a piece of advice I once received:
"Do what you want, be yourself. Don’t be afraid of being judged, because others don’t live your life. Even if they notice, it’s only for a brief moment before they return to their own. Don’t let people’s opinions weigh you down. Be confident, be comfortable, live for yourself, and do what makes you happy."
How true that is. Nobody really has enough time to keep watching us. More often, it’s our own invisible fear of judgment that holds us back from moving forward.
Everyone has their own story, their own journey, and the challenges they must face on their own. Instead of worrying about what others might think, just be yourself—live peacefully, live kindly, and love more.
Thank you for spending time reading these little reflections. Wishing you a peaceful new week, filled with positive energy and joy in the simplest moments of life. 🌿
